Text analysis
We are learning to analyse texts and look at how authors create mood and atmosphere by using language features. Here is a screencast I created with Fraise of our analysis of the text North Korea Unveil huge Missile.
My Zoo Recount
It was a cloudy Wednesday I was coming to school and I did not want to go to the zoo so that's why I did not come tuesday and then I told my mom why is there so much bus is here and then my mom told me they might be going to the zoo I got out of the car I got to my class and I saw Sheona organising my class we walked out of the class we finally got onto the bus the bus started and we went on our adventure.
I told my friend to sit beside me. His name is Fraise and he is one of my best friends. I got to sit on the window seat so I was happy I saw a lot of things like cars. We finally arrived.
I got out of the bus and I saw another school and I was like what are they doing here??? and then Fraise told me they are coming to the zoo as well. We saw a lot of cool animals like Capybara, Lion, Kea, Zebra, Spider Monkey Eel Rainbow fish Emu Lizards Cheetah and a Rhino that was very very muddy the good reason that I wanted to come to the zoo because the park that the zoo had one small side and one big slide I ran to the big with side with Fraise I went first and then Fraise went then Fraise hit me on the back because I didn't get out that fast enough we only had 30 minutes to stay at the zoo 30 minutes over we went to the bus I was feeling a little hungry so I eat something and that something was chips we finally got to our school it was 5 mins before we go back home when the bell rang I went running out the door The End
